Sedulo introduce Tax Investigations Service

If HMRC are to hit their target of closing the £7 billion tax gap, tax investigations will remain as prevalent as ever.

Sedulo are delighted to introduce our new Tax Investigations Service, purposely designed to protect you and give you peace of mind against the untold disruption and complex and invasive questions that a tax investigation entails.

Click here for further information or advice or contact Darrell Booth at our offices on 0161 236 9077 or darrell@sedulo.co.uk and we can discuss your circumstances on a more individual basis.

Please note that many enquiries are selected at random and, if HMRC investigate your tax affairs, you must cooperate. We strongly advise that all clients subscribe to the service due to the increasing risk of enquiry and to guarantee that peace of mind.

Sedulo recruit Head of Tax

Sedulo are delighted to welcome Darrell Booth as our Head of Tax.

Darrell has over 30 year’s tax experience working in and around Manchester in all areas of taxation but most recently with an emphasis on Company Taxation. Darrell’s all round knowledge has allowed him to act as a first point of contact for many “owner managed entrepreneurial businesses” and his addition to the team is a reflection of Sedulo’s commitment to maintaining a first class service to all present and future clients during this period of sustained growth of the practice.

Kirsty MacDonald, who has been with the tax department since it was formed in 2009, believes it is a great move to welcome further expertise and experience to the existing team.

“The appointment of Darrell as Head of Tax is a great opportunity to add further skills, knowledge and experience to the department. With my experience being predominantly within the Private Client field, I am really excited about what Darrell will bring to the department as it continues to grow at a fast pace and I look forward to working with him across all taxes.”

Sedulo launch dedicated charity division

We are proud to announce that we have launched a dedicated division to assist in the running and development of non-profit organisations.

Of late we have been lucky enough to work with some of the most high profile charities and appeals in the North West, ranging from the children’s charity Five Stars Appeal to newly formed charities, Charlie Ferguson’s (Grandson of Sir Alex Ferguson) Lovern Foundation and the Soap Actors charity Once Upon A Smile.

On the back of this, we thought it a natural progression to launch our ‘Sedulo Charity’ division. If you would like to view the full press release about the launch, please click here or if you would like to speak to us about how we can assist you with your worthwhile cause, please do not hesitate to contact Kirsty MacDonald at our offices on 0161 236 9077 or email kirsty@sedulo.co.uk.
