Paul began his career in an industry environment, initially specialising in systems, procedures and operations, and was part of a team that earned the ISO 9002 accreditation. By the time Paul was 22 he became Financial Controller for a company with annual turnover in excess of £30m.

Paul then worked within practice for a niche firm of Chartered Accountants based in Stockport. He specialised in added value type work for the firms client base. For the final year he managed the roll out of a nationwide franchise on behalf of a large multinational company. Paul became an ACCA qualified accountant in 2002.

Most recently Paul was part of the Just Search Limited board which grew the company from a loss making business in 2005 to a sale in 2007 of circa £14m. He is now a board member of Getupdated Internet Marketing a company listed on the Nasdaq OMX First North Premier in Sweden. This has been another turn around project with the company just recently posting EBITDA of circa 3MSEK as oppose to -23MSEK EBITDA losses from the previous year.

He is been involved in a number of corporate finance transactions and has a number of growth projects within the client base, where he sometimes takes a board position. His interest in the world of sport had lead to him representing some household names in the sports industry.

In 2009 Paul went alone with the launch of the ‘Sedulo Group’ an accountancy firm with subsidaries based in Manchester and Cheshire.

Pauls’ entrepreneurial, hands on approach to his work enables him to advise on many areas of business, namely; Sales strategies, Human Resource strategies, Marketing & PR campaigns, Operational Processes, Financial Management, Growth strategies, Funding and Corporate Finance transactions.

Paul is also a proud patron of Once Upon A Smile – a charity dedicated to providing respite services to families where a family member is suffering with terminal illness.

In his spare time, Paul is a keen sportsman, he enjoys spending time with his son, reading and travelling.
