About the Role

Role Purpose

The Sedulo Group works with a large number of SMEs in supporting the growth of their business whilst protecting and supporting the personal goals and objectives of owner managers. We are seeking an expert insurance adviser to provide bespoke insurance related advice of both a personal and business nature.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Building a strong internal network amongst colleagues of the firm in order to identify opportunities
  • Working with our marketing team in the design and roll out of direct marketing campaigns
  • Servicing enquiries from clients of the wider firm and within your own network
  • Undertaking detailed analysis of a client’s situation and, undertaking market research and making appropriate recommendations
  • Ensuring clients are informed of and understand those solutions that best meet their needs
  • Drafting suitability reports and associated paperwork to a high standard
  • Liaising with providers to completion
  • Communicating effectively with clients
  • Ensuring all relevant documentation held within a client file is compliant
  • Ensuring the firm’s compliance processes and procedures at all times
  • Complying with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the FCA’s Statements of Principle and Code of Practice, as well as the relevant rules from the FCA, at all times
  • Keeping up to date with relevant regulatory, product, legislative, and technical requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • 2 years relevant experience
  • Holding both R01 and R05 or equivalent
  • CAS status with current employer
  • Record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets
  • A good technical knowledge across a range of personal and corporate insurance products
  • including Shareholder Protection, Key person protection, Loan Protection.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to establish relationships with clients
  • Excellent time and organisational skills
  • An ethical and professional approach to work
