The Role

Role Purpose

Working within the Wealth Management department you will provide Mortgage and Protection advice to clients of the Sedulo Group. With an existing client base to service and an increasing number of internal referrals you will be tasked with providing bespoke advice and recommendations to new and existing clients with a diverse and challenging set of mortgage requirements.

This role provides a unique opportunity to join an experienced team offering guidance and mentoring, whilst also offering the potential for significant career development within the group.

Role Responsibilities


  • Servicing enquiries from clients of the wider firm and within your own network
  • Undertaking detailed analysis of a client’s situation and, undertaking market research and making appropriate recommendations
  • Building a strong internal network amongst colleagues of the firm in order to identify opportunities
  • Ensuring clients are informed of and understand those solutions that best meet their needs
  • Drafting suitability reports and associated paperwork to a high standard
  • Liaising with providers to completion
  • Communicating effectively with clients
  • Ensuring all relevant documentation held within a client file is compliant
  • Ensuring the firm’s compliance processes and procedures at all times
  • Complying with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the FCA’s Statements of Principle and Code of Practice, as well as the relevant rules from the FCA, at all times

Keeping up to date with relevant regulatory, product, legislative, and technical requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Qualified in CeMAP or equivalent
  • Strong networking skills and ability to establish relationships with clients
  • A strong desire to learn and improve your knowledge and skill set
  • Excellent time and organisational skills
  • A flexible approach to work
  • Discretion and an understanding of the need for client confidentiality.
  • An ethical and professional approach to work
