The Opportunity

After an influx of new client work across our High Growth team we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller or Management Accountant to join our High Growth team. Working alongside entrepreneurial Managing Directors and Business Owners you will be given the opportunity to have a real input at board level and make a difference for our clients. The clients we work with originate from a variety of industries including but not limited to online, pharma, tech, media and sports and are often working towards a transaction (private equity fundraise, sale, acquisition). The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your experience, grow your career and make an impact on the businesses we work with.

The Role

You will work closely with our High Growth Director and other Key Stakeholders within Sedulo getting to understand their business and working collaboratively with them to achieve their goals. You will be responsible for developing budgets and financial plans as well as managing and reporting commercial, financial and accounting activities.

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you will be qualified in either ACCA/ACA/CIMA or have the equivalent level of experience alongside proven experience of working within a Financial Controller capacity. You should have an in-depth and rounded knowledge of accounting principles and procedures as well as experience of creating financial statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process. In addition, you will have a proven track record of building relationships with a variety of stakeholders across all levels of the business and ideally previous experience in the preparation of budgets and financial modelling.
