Due to exceptional company growth, we are currently looking for lenders, bankers or brokers who are seeking an exciting challenge. As part of one of the largest and fastest-growing accountancy firms in the North, the positions provide a fantastic opportunity to offer funding solutions to both existing Sedulo Group clients and new to group businesses whilst leading a team, being responsible for strategy and profit and loss.
A senior management role based in our Leeds office where the successful candidates are expected to undertake a player/manager role. In the position you will be responsible for;
“Hunting” new business opportunities through a wide range of origination channels whilst “farming” the existing Sedulo portfolios proactively for businesses that have a funding requirement
Lead the client through the end to end process including the packaging of proposals to a panel of lenders, negotiating on behalf of clients and assisting the client with legal documentation
Responsible for the offices’ strategy in relation to funding
Manage a team of specialist funding managers. This includes role modelling behaviour, providing guidance and coaching, performance management
Accountable for the offices funding teams profit and loss
Growing the team with the opportunity to recruit additional people within the department
What are we looking for?
An ambitious, driven and experienced financial services professional with a wide breadth and depth of financial service product experience. This should include invoice finance, asset finance, property finance and business loans. You will be able to demonstrate a “route to market” whether that be through an existing professional network that you leverage or other means. Whilst line management experience isn’t essential, having the ambition to progress into formal line management is a requirement.
