We’ve had a two new faces come through our doors in the last week, so we caught up with them to see how their first week at Sedulo has been for them!

Amy Higinbotham– Tax Apprentice

Amy-Hig

It’s my first 9-5 job, so it has been a massive learning curve for me. It was and still is very daunting for me but the team have welcomed me and I really enjoy working with them – the days have flown by!

I have started off learning about personal tax and have worked my way through a couple of simple tax returns. There is a lot to learn but my team is very helpful and I feel comfortable enough to come to them with my questions when the need arises.

My time has been filled up mostly with filing, which helps me understand how the company works and how everything is organised. I love learning new things, so my first week was very interesting and I look forward to learning more about tax!

Andrew Witte– Audit and Compliance team

Andrew

First week has been really good at Sedulo…I have been straight out working at clients, nothing like getting stuck in straight away!

I’ve been carrying out Audit work in the office and out on site, additionally also preparing accounts.

The team at Sedulo has been welcoming and answering any questions that I have. They have provided me with plenty of assistance and have made me feel like part of the team from day one, which is always good when starting any new job. I am very excited to progress in my role and with Sedulo!

Welcome to the team Amy and Andrew!
