To continue the launch of our new home away from home at the Sharp Project, Manchester, Darrell Booth took part in the third running of their own stylised ‘Pecha Kucha’ session on Friday 14th September.
For those unsure, a Pecha Kucha session is a presentation method in which slides are shown to the audience for a limited time to keep the presentations ‘quick-fire’ and allow multiple speakers. The Sharp Project version allows speakers five minutes in which to present a total of five slides.
The session was the third of its kind to be hosted in the Sharp Project but the first since we have moved into our new office, Red 24. Darrell joined seven other tenants and campus members to talk about what their respective company does and what services they offer, all within the allotted time. Alongside Darrell were companies ranging from the video production, copy writing and insurance industries; all presenting at the informal event to get to know each other and talk about their businesses. There were some fantastic examples of products and services on display too, showcasing some of the very best talent that the Manchester new media industry has to offer.
