In tough times, the expansion of the company over the last 12 months has been impressive and included us signing over 100 new clients from across a multitude of industries, including digital, fashion and sport. We’ve also developed our added value service package, with the introduction of our Tax Investigations service. Here is a look at the progress Sedulo has made over the past year.
Our team continue to work as hard as ever to give our clients a service that others struggle to match. With new obstacles facing our clients every day, our management team continue to find the solutions to their problems and their ongoing dedication to the cause, combined with honesty to the needs of our clients, is what makes Sedulo tick.
The continued growth of the company has allowed us to bolster our ranks to continue to provide the high standards of service we pride ourselves on with the hiring of a Head of Tax, a Marketing Manager, a semi-senior accountant and another Accounts Assistant. Our work with apprenticeships received recognition in September from the flagship apprenticeship initiative, GM Commitment. We also are proud to announce that our apprentices have collectively achieved a 100% pass rate in their exams this year.
Without our clients we wouldn’t be here. Our promise to our clients to be with them on the frontline throughout the duration of their business’s lifecycle is what gets the results and this promise, combined with the business savviness and hours upon hours of work our team put in, is the reason that in May of this year we recorded our record month in terms of revenue for our added value services.
Our work with charities is something that is close to hearts of many of our staff and our ongoing projects with causes such as Once Upon A Smile, Five Stars Appeal, Maddi’s Butterflies, the Lovern Foundation, YPSF and the Sodje Foundation are ventures which provide our company and our staff with a lot of pride. Some staff even decided to get their hands dirty with a bit of fund raising, notably Lee Jones and Adam White in the BUPA Great Manchester Run back in May, Paul Cheetham-Karcz and Dan Wilson donating their top lip space for Movember and all members of staff contributing to the Christmas Toy Appeal.
Our brand has made fantastic steps over the past year. August saw our new website go live, offering users more of the information and ease of navigation which they felt was synonymous with our services. This move also coincided with our brand receiving a facelift in the form of a new colour scheme. The feedback we have received so far regarding the website and switch in branding has been very positive and we would like to thank everyone who has contributed.
September marked our official move into the Sharp Project, sitting us amongst the creative industry companies we not only love to work with, but also have an impressive track record of working with to boot.
What a year 2012 has been for everyone involved with Sedulo, and what a year 2013 is already shaping up to be…
