Every year, over half a million children in the UK live in poverty and wake up on Christmas Day and wonder why Santa hasn’t been to visit them.
And every year we try to make a little dent in that number with the Sedulo Christmas Toy Appeal!
Last year, hosting two events in both Manchester and Leeds, sponsors, Sedulo staff, friends and charities combined to create the Toy Appeal and a reverse-style grotto where children gifted Santa with a sack of presents to pass on to another child less fortunate than themselves. Check out video coverage from last year’s Appeal below…
With the help of those people, we managed to gift a total of 2,000 presents to over 200 children, and this year we’re aiming to go bigger.
Helping 250 children in Manchester, Leeds and London is the target for 2019, and as of now the Sedulo Christmas Toy Appeal is officially open. Head here to find out how you can get involved and make Christmas for a child who, without you, wouldn’t ordinarily get one…
The Sedulo #ChristmasToyAppeal is back!
Through no fault of their own, half a million UK children live in poverty and wake up at Christmas to find Santa hasn't visited.
Our Toy Appeal teams up with charities and carers to help stop that from happening.https://t.co/QiDAMEmJmh
